Coherent Points (Surface)

Tuesday, 03 November 2015 17:00 Published in Paper

Title:  Coherent Points (Surface)

Date: 2015

Materials: Silk screen acrylic print onto Chartwell W13G graph paper.

Print Size: 42 x 29.8 cm

Framed size: 52.5 x 42.5 x 3.5 cm

Edition of 40 with 10 artist proofs

Production: Nottingham Trent University School of Art and Design print studio, Nottingham, UK.

Notes: This limited edition print developed from documentation of a series of three-dimensional laser projections which took place as part of Nottingham Trent University's Fine Art Summer Lodge residency 2014.

The original, animated, installation utilised scanned coherent light from a laser,  displayed onto a slowly rotating cubic structure.  Initial test prints were made during the 2014 Summer Lodge but it was not until April 2015 that a relevant paper was selected and the edition printed.

Special thanks to Vicky Price and Alvyn Mills at Nottingham Trent University Print studio for their help and advice.
