Holography, as a visual process, is now over 50 years old.
Since the very early days, artists have found ways to embrace, challenge and adapt this optical phenomenon for their own exploration and research. In this Broadway lecture, Andrew Pepper will present an overview of some key artists in the field, the variety of approaches they have presented and then offer details of a number of his own holographic projects and installations. This will be a nontechnical presentation dealing with aspects of visual art. |
